Chrono Mobile is a free app available for iPhone users that helps you navigate public transit in Montreal and the surrounding area. The app is designed to help you find the best route for your next trip, whether it's by bike, metro, car sharing, bus, or train. With Chrono, you can track your buses and trains in real-time, follow the occupancy level of the next passages of your buses and metros, and read the content of your OPUS card.
In addition to these features, Chrono allows you to save your favorite destinations, create favorites and alerts for the lines and stops you use, and quickly find information about service disruptions. You can also proceed to or end a Communauto reservation, consult Communauto stations and cars available, as well as their models and options.
Chrono also displays the complete route of a transport line (bus, metro, and trains), determines your scheduled arrival or departure time (buses and trains), and displays the position of bus stops, metro stations, and train stations near you when you authorize Chrono to access geolocation data on your device. Finally, you can use the trip planner to find the best itinerary by public transport or by bike and rent a BIXI and check the velo stations near you as well as the number of bikes available.
